Public Safety
• Increase police presence in the Western Slope and open park areas. • Continuously improve pedestrian safety across our ward. • Establish a ward-wide neighborhood watch program.
Quality of Life
• Advocate for better city services, including cleaner streets and more efficient garbage collection. • Improve infrastructure with direct community input through a resident advisory board. • Identify and create new green and open spaces for residents to enjoy.
Affordability
• Expand rent control protections to properties without an on-site landlord. • Advocate for 20% affordable housing in all new developments. • Ensure homeowners are not burdened with unnecessary tax increases. • Hold developers accountable for paying their fair share of taxes.
Bring Soccer to Pershing Field
Pershing Field is a popular spot for local families, but there's a growing demand for soccer fields that isn’t being met. Both kids and adults are missing out on opportunities to play this healthy, popular sport. That’s why we are calling for two soccer fields to be added in Pershing Field using existing space that is currently underutilized. Add your name now!
